Dr. Sachin S. Shivanaikar

Dr. Sachin S. Shivanikar is a Professor in the Department of Periodontology, Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Belagavi, and a Board of Studies Member at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. He completed his BDS from KLE Institute of Dental Sciences, Belagavi and MDS in Periodontology from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College, Bengaluru. He further pursued a PG Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics and a PG Diploma in Consumer Law and Practice at NLSIU, Bengaluru, and holds a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from the International College of Light Medicine & Laser Therapy, Stranberg, Germany.

Currently, he serves as Vice President, IDA Karnataka State Branch and Executive Committee Member, IDA Belagavi Branch.

Dr. Sachin Shivanikar has authored 26 publications, presented scientific papers, co-authored 2 textbooks, and delivered numerous guest lectures at national and international forums. With over 15 years of exclusive periodontal practice, he is widely recognized for his expertise in laser-assisted dentistry and his contribution to advancing modern dental care.
